Saint Joseph Catholic Grammar School is located in the scenic town of Carteret, NJ. At Saint Joseph Catholic school, the priority of the education is devoted to teaching its students with knowledge of the Catholic Faith, explaining to them the Church’s nature, history, and teaching. Our Parish Religious Education Program helps in the faith formation of our young parishioners from 1st through 8th grade. Each year in the program builds on the knowledge and faith formation offered at home, through the celebration of the sacraments of Reconciliation and Eucharist, as well as formal instruction. It is essential for the children to have a strong faith foundation. All Religious Education classes are held at St. Joseph School. ---Grades 1-4 will attend class on Wednesday evenings from 6 PM to 7:30 PM ---Grades 5-8 will attend class on Tuesday evenings from 6 PM to 7:30 PM ---A High School Confirmation Class will also be available for all high school age students. For more information, please contact the Religious Education Office. Packets for new registrations are available in the back of the Church and at the Parish Office. They may be picked up, completed, and returned with the appropriate fee to the Religious Education Office. New registrations must be accompanied by an original of the child’s Baptismal certificate. All families should be registered parishioners of St. Joseph Parish. Please Note: Children preparing for First Communion and Confirmation are required to complete the two year immediate preparation program prior to the reception of the sacrament. Religious Education Classes will resume on Tuesday, September 18, 2007 and Wednesday, September 19, 2007 at St. Joseph School. Packets for new registrations are available in the back of the Church and at the Parish Office. They may be picked up, completed, and returned with the appropriate fee to the Religious Education Office. New registrations must be accompanied by an original of the child’s Baptismal certificate.
